Renewal

This work on paper was within the first body of work I completed that pertained to the human shadow. We live in a society that encourages us to turn away from shadow material, and to turn instead to the endless distractions offered us in America.

It’s only through looking directly into our own shadow that true transformation, and a renewal of spirit, can occur. When it was finished, I knew I was being asked to focus more on the shadow terrain of the human experience. The black tones would become a signature range within many future pieces.

Renewal is a mixed media work on Stonehenge 100% cotton paper, framed.  It is shipped flat in a protective art box. I will contact you for cost to pack and ship to your destination.
